How to Use the Gokigen Message Board

Write Your Title and Message
First, decide what you want to write on the message board.
Write your title in the section labeled "Write your title here." This title will become a button that you can send to your friends later!

Below that, in the "Write your message here" section, type the message you want to send to the other person. Be sure to use polite and thoughtful language!

Press the Generate Button to Create Your Message
When you press the "Generate" button, the title you wrote will turn into a button that appears on the screen.
Pressing this button will allow the message to be read out loud!

Adjust Audio with the Speaker Button
When the speaker button is set to "On," the message will be played as audio. If you don’t want the audio, set the speaker button to "Off."

Try Replying
After reading the message from your friend, you can send a reply! Change the title to "Reply," write your response in the message box, and press the "Generate" button to create the reply message.

Why the Message Board has Low Risk of Message Leakage When Using SNS or Messengers

The message content is embedded in a link: When using email, LINE, or other messaging services, what is being sent is not the actual message itself, but a link that generates the message. The actual content of the message is displayed and played on a webpage when the link is opened. As a result, the message content is not directly saved on the messenger's platform.

Message content is only displayed and played when the link is opened: The body of the message can only be read after the link is opened, ensuring that the message itself remains secure. On SNS or messaging services, only the link is shared, and the actual message content is never passed through these platforms.

Regarding Issues with the Message Board Not Functioning Properly on Specific Browsers or Devices (e.g., Certain Rakuten Mobile Smartphones or Google Browsers)

Several factors may contribute to this issue:

Browser Compatibility Issues: Some browsers may not support the latest web technologies or JavaScript functions. Specifically, functions like window.speechSynthesis and document.execCommand may not be supported by certain browsers or versions.

JavaScript Blocking: Security or privacy settings may limit the execution of JavaScript in the browser. Rakuten Mobile’s default browser or its security settings could be related to this issue.

Security Settings: Carrier or device security settings may block external script execution or audio playback.

HTTPS Requirement: Some APIs, such as the SpeechSynthesis API, may only work on pages served over HTTPS. If your page is served via HTTP, switching to HTTPS may be necessary.

Solutions:

Update the Browser: Check the browser version and try updating to the latest version.

Ensure JavaScript is Enabled: Confirm that JavaScript is enabled in the browser settings.

Use HTTPS: Make sure the site is using HTTPS. This can be enabled through Wix settings.

Check Error Messages: Use the browser’s developer tools to check for any error messages and address the issues based on the error content.
